Gliding ABC Certificates
Soloing is just the first step in your gliding journey. Whether you are a new solo pilot working towards your Gliding ABC certificates, or a more experienced pilot wanting to complete your Glider Pilot Certificate or badges, LKSC can help you.
Lake Keepit operates 7 days a week so you can come to the club at a time that suits you and concentrate on acquiring the skills that you need for that next milestone in your gliding career. Instructors and coaches can be booked for the times you want when you want. We can help with setting up flight computers, planning tasks, out-landing paddock selection and more. Consolidate your skills and then go out and achieve those goals.
The club glider fleet has a good mix of aircraft (including the PW5) for those transitioning from training aircraft, to high performance 15 and 18 metre aircraft – which are designed for the more experienced pilots. All aircraft are fitted with flight computers, flarms and modern instruments to make life easier in the cockpit.
The LKSC weather is generally ideal for flying and soaring, even in the colder winter months. This makes achieving your gliding certificates that much easier at any time of the year. Contact the club now to find out how we can help you to achieve your gliding goals.
