Getting to Lake Keepit.
Lake Keepit Soaring Club is located in the central north west of NSW, midway between Tamworth and Gunnedah. It is approximately 500kms from Sydney and 600 kms from Brisbane. Search for Lake Keepit Airport in google maps.
The club is within the Reflections Holiday Park Lake Keepit and you will need a 4 digit pass to enter the park gate without paying. This can be organised through the club before you arrive.
Tamworth has road, rail and air connections with both Sydney and Brisbane. The club is approximately 40 minutes drive from Tamworth. Gunnedah has road and rail connections to Sydney with the club about 35 minutes’ drive away. Hire cars are available in both centres and at Tamworth regional airport. Since there are no public transport connections from either town to the club, you will need to hire a car or taxi for the last section of your trip to the club.

If you are not driving your own car you should consider hiring a car from Sydney or Brisbane as the cost for a 10 day hire can actually be less than using public transport.
