Keepit Regatta 2026 – Bigger, Better, and All About YOU

The Keepit Regatta is where fun meets skill-building — a friendly, low-pressure event designed for pilots of all levels. Entries are limited to just 30 gliders for safety and quality, so every pilot gets the attention they deserve.

In 2026, we’re going back to the Regatta’s original mission:

  • Helping early cross-country pilots fly further, with confidence
  • Giving seasoned pilots the tools to sharpen their edge

And this year, we’re bringing unprecedented coaching firepower: seven two-seat gliders and some of Australia’s top competition pilots — including a World Champion — ready to fly with you.

🚀 Your Coaches & Gliders

You’ll have the rare chance to fly at least once with one or more of the following coaches/gliders. Final coach/glider pairings may change on the day to suit coach/student/glider: Brad Edwards, Bruce Taylor, Allan Barnes, Andy Aveling, and more! Two seat gliders include ASG32Mi (x2), Duo Discus (x2), DG1000, and Arcus M.

That’s more two-seat gliders dedicated to coaching than ever before at a Keepit Regatta. Whether you’re a newcomer or an XC veteran, this is an unmissable opportunity to learn, improve, and have a blast.

📅 How It Works

  • Reserve Your Seat –Pilots registering for coaching will be allocated a coach based on student learning and coaching styles, but wherever possible, coaches will be allocated to the students preference. Priority will be given to early cross country pilots with a strong desire to do more cross country flying followed by more experienced pilots wanting to up their cross country game. With so many coaches and gliders, we are sure to be able to meet both needs fully.
  • Daily Tasks – Relaxed AATs up to 300 km, with optional friendly rivalry for those keen to compare scores.
  • Morning Tech Talks – Weather, strategy, thermalling, common mistakes spotted during the week, and any special topics you request. No matter your level of experience, you are sure to get something from the talks.

🌅 More Than Just Flying

The Regatta’s magic doesn’t end when you land — every evening, pilots and partners gather for dinner, laughter, and the day’s tales (some of them even true).
